Hello bodybuilders, I just received the results of my blood test, which showed that my thyroid is too low and my testosterone at a value of 9.7 (which according to the GP should be between 7 and 28).
Well now I've got my thyroid pills (which has nothing to do with this but just to let you know).
And for my low testosterone, I got nothing, it is according to the doctor okay, well I've done some research and found that most men have a value between 15 and 23 approximately.
I've always felt that my body does not really have the genes for muscles to grow, even with good training and nutrition program.
Well my question is fellow bodybuilders, is there a good way to get your testosterone level to rise, with supplements, if so, what are good picks?
Tnx.

Your testosterone levels could simply be low due to winter just coming to an end. Sunshine and vitamin D3 will boost test levels. Here is an article about that, which might be helpful.

Thought to mention about the thyroid, I've read of some people correcting thyroid test levels simply by taking iodine or kelp tablets.

snippet:
"Like many health-conscious people, Kurt avoids salt. In fact, he has assiduously avoided salt ever since his heart attack back in 1995.
Lately, Kurt had become tired, often for little or no reason. His thyroid panel:
TSH 4.2 mIU/L (0.27-4.20)
Free T3 1.74 pg/ml (2.50-4.30)
Free T4 1.05 ng/dl (0.9-1.7)
Kurt’s TSH of 4.2 mIU/L is sufficient to increase LDL cholesterol by 20-30% and increase the (relative) risk for heart attack 3-fold.
Kurt’s thyroid was also palpably enlarged. While it was just barely visible–just a minor bulge in the neck (in the shape of a bowtie), it could be clearly felt when I examined him.
I asked Kurt to add 500 mcg of iodine every day. Three months later, another thyroid panel showed:
TSH 0.14 mIU/L (0.27-4.20)
Free T3 2.50 pg/ml (2.50-4.30)
Free T4 1.1 ng/dl (0.9-1.7)
Kurt’s thyroid function normalized to nearly ideal levels just with iodine replacement. (The free T3, while improved, remains low; an issue for another day!)..."

I would listen to your doctor. Test can rise and drop based on when the test was taken. If you do have the ow test you think you do then they will prescribe something for you. IF not supps will not fix this. The best thing to do is wait a short time and then have it rechecked.
If you not feeling the burn your not pushing hard enough.

Wow a lot of good and bad advice in this thread. OP I think I can help you, I'm also 19 with low testosterone, hypothyroid, and beta thallesemia trait. The very first thing you need to do is get with a doctor and get the following tests done:
AM cortisol
Testosterone
Free testosterone
Estrogen
Shbg
Free t3 and free t4 (thyroid)
Antibodies
Dhea-s
Don't just go in to a doctor, start researching and have an answer when your doctor asks why you want those tests.
I just started trt a few weeks ago but this is after a long time of trying to get it up naturally by fixing everything else. Right now you should start taking iodine, 5-10K ius of vitamin d a day, and 200mcg of selenium a day. You have a long road if you want to recover but you have to put the time in

Your research was more then likely based on some online garbage by unqualified wannabe doctor retards.
You see all this age graded nonsense today with no real substance to back it. The reason the standard range is what it is, is because your values can vary from person to person. Being on the low end vs the high end of that range makes very, very little difference unless it corelates to something more substantial, which is why qualified physicians ignore it.
Believe me your body is likely protecting you by keeping test lowish. HIgh testosterone can come with a host of problems many just choose to ignore (hair loss, prostate cancer, high blood pressure, fuuked up lipids etc..).
