Eh that would be terrible. Luckily I'm always at the security desk in the E.R, so for the most part there is always something going on. Level I trauma centre and the second largest hospital in Canada, you get to see some stuff.
@Sloop, have you seen Nikon's new 28mm 1.8?

Today's life lessons:
- If you receive a file that has "HairyTwatter" in the file name, just assume that it is very literal lol
- Stick to the SD quality of pornhub, youporn, keez, etc... Most pron is not meant to be seen in HD...Kenshin and Dbone's Nursing Home Adventures (ongoing) ... http://tinyurl.com/ns23wak

SMH - why don't reps get it? On this site other products don't exist. Period. Talk about yours and don't compare.
Even non-affiliated posters need to be careful. Some companies can and will sue you for especially damaging posts. Yes, you may have a first amendment right and yes, you probably will not lose in that suit, but ask yourself before posting - do I really want to be served in federal court and have to hire defense attorneys all over something I said on an internet message board? It's just not worth it.

can you provide insight into what would be considered damaging or an incentive for a company to sue?
For example: going into 10 threads in a row saying I dont like myofusion is not sue worthy I presume. But, going to threads and try to damage reputation by saying that they are all thieves and that their protein is made of rat feces is probably sue worthy? Blatant lies to damage a reputation is more on the obvious side, but where do you think the line is in terms of stating your opinion which is negative?
Im curious, but dont want this to be referenced with any particular examples which will lead to spice-overload in this thread. Purely theoretical plzzzzzz

I am not a lawyer, nor do I have any experience with these kind of suits, but this is my personal take on it from observing the actions of companies and individuals over the past few years.
It really depends on how litigious the company/owner is and how persistent the attacks are. It's so hard to say. It could come from a couple different angles, like personal attacks (i.e. "company xyz is owned by a lying scumbag" or "company owner abc is a greedy sob who only cares about profits and not the health of his customers") or perhaps if the product attacks are either lies (i.e. "product abc is spiked with <random illegal substance>") or persistent enough to make the company/owner feel that sales have been unfairly impacted by the attacks (i.e. a poster is very very frequently in threads for this particular company or product is is consistently negative and/or promoting another brand).
It's so hard to say what will motivate a company or person to sue these days - people sue over the seemingly pettiest things. As an individual on internet message boards, be aware that your comments are not always protected free speech and in the view of the wrong person, on the wrong day with the wrong lawyer it can mean a real headache for you. This is multiplied if you're also a company rep (or at one time served in the capacity of company rep).
If you keep your comments positive and maybe on occasion share your experiences with a product that you didn't like (as long as you're not a rep and the product is a competitor product), then you'll be fine, IMO. But if you start to demonstrate a pattern of targeting a specific company or product with persistent negative commentary, or if your negative commentary is particularly inflammatory, then you're just asking for trouble. Like I said, if you get sued, the plaintiff probably won't win the suit, but your life will be completely scrambled because of it. The financial impact of defending this kind of suit alone is enough to bankrupt most individuals.
It baffles me how some people still run around this forum like it's the wild west with guns blazing even after so many individuals have been sued for their negative posts. Some of the most vocal critics of supplement companies are now quieter than church mouses or have left altogether after being sued. This should be a lesson for anyone tempted to be a keyboard cowboy. Don't lose your house or car over some words online.
