Friend tried 510 squat at 228 a few days ago. He went too low and lost it. sad day

He spot me for mine. got 315x8 at 170 because i was scared he wouldnt let me rack and if i did he would eat me post workout. rep 6 7 8 werent as deep as i like, but far more acceptable than what i see at the gym.

I have a love hate relationship with heavy weights. This winter I was working on squat strength and was doing 405 for reps. Then I decided to go for a heavy single at 455 and even though I finished the lift, I tore something in my hamstrings. Even with some rehab, taking it easy and lots of stretching it still is tender now about 4 months later. I'm getting too old to be doing heavy singles.

I pushed my weights up a lot lately. Ive been studying for countless hours each day which translates into a lot of idle eating for me. My joints are conking out one by one. hip, shoulder, pec/shoulder, elbow. ill start some joint supps soon i think.

I've been using Animal Flex. It's helped a ton but I just think liftin heavy ass weights since HS has caught up to me.

I feel like my hips are going to catch up. I have a really wide squat so its a bit stressing on the joint. I have loads of osteo-sport I cant over dose on.

If you do acquire Gold Feast, I recommend tossing up some Gold Feast waffles, or pancakes. I think it turns out well enough even with just gold feast + egg + water batter. (splenda / sweetener to taste)
