Anyways, how accurate are these online calculators for determining body fat %? The one I used measured waist, illiac (I think? sp?) hips, height, and weight.
Is there a way for determining this just simply based on measurements? (with a tape measure) As opposed to going in and having people do a displacement test, or other things like that..

Not very accurate. People that are clearly over 20% come in all the time claiming 13%, etc using those.

Damn, I was kinda hoping they were somewhat accurate. All the ones I"ve tried have said i'm around 14-15% BF... does that sound reasonable for my height/weight/waist?

I do have a bit of a gut, which i'm working on right now. Unfortunately, it seems every single bit of fat on my body is right there lol. I can't hardly grab any fat at all on my legs.Originally Posted by nympho
