Opinion about 6 meals a day
I was having trouble cutting with the 3 meals a day. It often lead to me binging on everything I saw,
When I switched from 6 small meals a day. I felt more full, and there were no cravings even late at night.
anyone have similar experiences with 6 meals a day as opposed to 3 big meals a day?

yeah same, lots of small meals makes me hungry all day.
I eat 2 meals a day now, far less hungry and much easier to keep to my targets.
But everyone is different so just need to experiment and find what works.

As long as your in a deficit and hit your macros your good. I eat 3 meals a day and I'm fine also helps drinking water all day

Oh it definitely is different for everyone. If I can eat enough to actually feel full, I can forget about food for several hours. If I only eat them 300 kcal mini-meals, I'm thinking about food pretty much constantly.

Eat as many meals as you would like to. Just hit your macros and calorie level.

I have breakfast at 7, a snack around 10, lunch at 1, snack again around 3, then dinner around 7. I find the small snacks (usually yogurt, fruit, or almonds) helps hold me between meals. Otherwise I devour my meals and feel unsatisfied. I don't do it the frequent meal myths, I just do it to keep my hunger at ease. Just do what works best for you.

1-2 meals at night, occasionally i'll have up to 3 smaller meals if for some reason work just messes with my typical eating schedule (night shift), but at the end of the day it's the same crap. as long as the overall daily cals are the same and you're in a deficit, you'll lose weight. do whatever's going to keep you from bingeing!

"Earlier this year, a new study was published on the topic. As expected, no differences were found between a lower (3 meals) and higher meal (6 meals) frequency. Read this post for my summary of the study. This study garnered some attention in the mass media and it was nice to see the meal frequency myth being debunked in The New York Times."
