Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. I just couldn't figure out the formula off the top of my head when I was writing the spreadsheet.
DUH...and I'm a Comp Science major :/
Alright, I updated some more errors on the inputs from some of you. Lemme know what's up if anything is off. I'll be doing a percentage of poundage lost column also, so there will be a winner and 2 runner ups in that as well.
edit; Ended up spiffing up the spreadsheet a bit.
- Added a total pounds tracker since the start, and a total pounds at the end; that way we can have a total number of pounds that we lost collectively as a group at the end. Similar to The Biggest Loser contest.
- Added a total pounds lost together that is updated automatically each week, and the total percent lost as a group is also calculated.
- Added a total % lost column for each individual.
Any other constructive input is welcome for changes/whatever..

Had an awesome day. worked out hard. Went to the doc's.
last time he saw me I was 10 lbs heavier, which was a month and 3 days agao. He asked what's my secret and said I looked considerably thinner.
that felt pretty good.
What I am confused about is that i asked him what is a good weight for me and he said 205lbs. He said I don't wanna be like 170 or 180 or I'd look sick.
I was more or less thinking 190.
Can someone assure me I won't look like a scarecrow?March 1st -June 1st Weight Loss:

I think losing 20-30 lbs a month is crazy and probably unhealthy. Your body needs to be able to adjust. Drastic changes must have some sort of effect on the body long term.
My goal on this cut is to limit my fat loss to 1lb a week. Since I'm doing this from a bulk, I'm trying to retain all my strength and lean body mass as much as possible. The bigger guys can afford a 2lb/week deal, and maybe even 3lbs...but really, anymore then that is probably unhealthy. Plus, whats the point in losing fast if you end up with a bunch of loose skin? Take the time to do it right the first time, and you'll reap the benefits for life.

So, I started calorie and macro counting last Wednesday. I weighed in that day at 224 lbs. By Sunday the start of this comp I was down to 220. I know today isn't a weigh in day... but I had to check my progress since Sunday... down to 216.5 so far. 7.5 lbs in 7 days... great start to keep me motivated.

This weight loss comp is helping me big time. I've already been to the gym for at least 4+ hours a day everyday since I started. Honestly, without this comp, I'd probably fall back on my old habits by now and just go every other day and half ass it. It's amazing how helpful a competition is. Of course it's just the beginning, but I think this is what I needed to actually follow through. Did leg day today, looked like a moron wabbling all the way back to my car lmfao.

Working out for 45min-1hour, then going back in later in the day and playing basketball (if I can even walk, aka not today) when everyone is there lol. There's always pick-up games going at my gym 4pm and later. That's where I get all my cardio from, besides walking outside at the park for dat free tan

Hello all. Feeling d-mn good. Had my first non-liquid meal in a good week. I had dental surgery and they pretty much raped my gums, so chewing anything has been out of the question. Along with anything too hot, cold, salty, etc. Basically just been fruit smoothies or yogurt. It's been awful. Oh well, it's over now. Time for a good workout. And a good chunk of meat for dinner tonight.
And so rock bottom became a solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.
Average per week: 35 miles ran
