As the title says this thread is for members of the *Unaesthetic Crew*. Those with great aesthetics will be negged for posting here unless they can produce video proof of amazing strength to weight ratios, but will still be regarded with suspicion.
Erick named the group and as such is credited with inventing the name.
Alright, post up those PR's, my recent one's (rebuilding obviously not lifetime) this week, that are worth noting... no one cares about my incline curls, are squat 365x3x5, deadlift 450x3, barbell row 295x5.

By most standards, aesthetic means lean with some muscle mass. So nearly anyone can be aesthetic if they want to diet. I like what erick posted the other day about people who make excuses to stay bigger or smaller. Getting stronger doesn't mean you can't diet and being lean doesn't mean you can't lift heavy weights.

In. Now this is a thread with a great mind set.
I'm coming up on a year of lifting in a structured way come May of this year, so I haven't broken into any amazing lifts yet. I'm eating into a surplus and actively trying to put on weight for the first time in my life. My 1rm currently at squat 295, bp 235, dl 405, ohp 160.
The hard goal is to hit 1000 by the end of the year, but the soft goal is that I'm aiming for 1100 and a 500lb dl.
I think more-so the idea for this is people who are training with a focus on getting stronger and improvement as opposed to "having abs" or being afraid to put on a little fluff.*Unaesthetic Crew* Disregard V-Taper, Acquire PRs.
The Iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it’s impossible to turn back. The Iron never lies to you.

What if you're aesthetic and strong? Why compromise one for the other? My best when I was going hard in the gym @ 204lbs was 315x2 flat barbell bench, 365x6 squat, and 315x8 deadlift. I don't know if that is awesome or normal but that's what I did but also squatting and deadlifts were a once in a while deal.

This ^^^ and current minimum lifts are not a requirement just an general upward trend. This thread is for those who value strength more than aesthetics as their primary goal, but who won't complain if they end up aesthetic, as long as they are not compromising their strength whilst getting leaner. No ****gy time "I lost 20 lbs off my squat but I am rocking an adonis belt" *******s allowed.

Im lifting for strength and mostly working on form / technique right now so numbers arent going anywhere.
My friend lifts for looks / girls / social stature and hes the most miserable, self critical lifter I've ever met.
Not saying that guys here are ****gy enough to lift for girls but eesh*Unaesthetic Crew* Disregard V-Taper, Acquire PRs.

Starting "Train for strength, eat however the fk you want" crew
Any can join. It requires you don't give a fk and lift heavy weight, doesn't matter if you are in a deficit, surplus, or dat dream bulker status.
I'm mostly making the point, that it isn't mutually exclusive. People can be eating for abs and still training for strength. I'll stop ranting. I just (for once) am off work, got class cancelled, am not lifting, and don't have homework. WHAT DO I DO WITH MYSELF?

I guess my interpretation is different.
Aesthetic (if I had to define it) is strength, stamina, endurance, and lean....all wrapped up into one. Just being complete in all facets and constantly striving to improve that.
I saw the sig....I can't "disregard V-taper" so Im out...lol.
