    Unhappy Sharp pain during deadlifts?

okay so when i do deadlifts, on the last 2-3 reps i feel a sharp pain in my lower back, like im being stabbed by a needle, and then it feels absoultley fine after.
dont know if its relevant but sometimes i get the exact same feeling in my foot when im walking.
is this normal? do you guys get it? or should i not do any deadlifts for a few weeks. thanks.

Any pain in you lower back should not be taken lightly. Make sure your form is correct, and you're not putting too much load on your lower back. If this keeps happening you should get it checked out, you don't want to cause long-term damage.

If it's only happening during a set it might just be a muscular pain, which should go away over time.

well my dad's been lifting for about 10 years so he's well educated on bodybuilding and he watches me every time i train to make sure my form is right and help me on the last rep so im pretty sure my forms good, and the pain only lasts when im doing the rep, as soon as i put the weight down the pain is instantly gone.

edit : This does not happen on any other muscles when im training

I'm not too sure what the pain is, but I've pulled a muscle in my lower back doing deadlifts before, and I always make sure my form is perfect now.

I suggest going to see a doctor. Do not play around with back pain. One jacked up back will last you until you die. Could be something small, but don't take any chances.
