    HIIT in the gym?

I moved to LA last year where it's pretty much impossible to find an area to go out and do sprints. I used to go to tracks or football fields a lot before and do HIIT for my cardio and weight loss exercises.

Is there any good way to do HIIT training inside of a gym that is comparable to outdoor running?

What are you talking about bro I was born and raised in LA. There are plenty high schools or parks where you can do HIIT. If anything just do HIIT on a treadmill.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm in Cali and they are lots of places to do hit in LA and the surrounding area.

I wouldn't do HIIT on a treadmill though. Sometimes the surfaces of treadmills can really f*** up your heels/feet over time. Let alone trusting your safety to the device setting when at 9mph +.

Do you know of any hills around you 50 meters or longer? Just sprint uphill at 90% maximal exertion 10 times, 3 times a week. You can do this on a flat area of road as well. Virtually any good stretch of road is good for HIIT.

If my track is busy, I'll do HIIT on the "true" stair climber (moving stairs). You can't go too crazy where you can't change the speed, yet you can work your quads and hams like crazy, and get a good burn. Usually those machines will have intervals you can set.

Man there's tons of ways and you need like no room

    Mountain Climbers,
    Burpee's
    Jump Knee Tucks
    Stair Run's
    Box Jump's
Butt kick to High Knee Spot Running

Use your mind m HIIT is just using your mind and mimicing what movements you'll need most for your lifestyle and doing those with a high Heart Rate + 2-3minute rests.

You could do circuit training with compound movements....Its endless bro, just put some time and figure out what you like
