    Most Common Cutting Mistakes?

Going to start my first cut ever very soon. I am happy with my bulk results and really want to lose weight so I can get some aesthetics for summer and keep a good clean bulk going.

I pretty much have the basic idea of what I am going to do so I am asking before I start (1 week away). What are the biggest mistakes people make that I should look to avoid or possibly as answers to my lack of progress when cutting?
    Always Pick 1 Crew

dont cut your carbs to sudden, slowly decrease them everyday over a few weeks until you are at a deficiency. you dont want to cut too much, you will lose too much muscle and energy.

Dont cut too many calories and cut them down progressively through the first week. Dont stop to lift heavy, add some cardio if possible and keep your protein intake big.

-don't go into a deficit of more than 500 calories
    -keep your protein intake high
    -do moderate cardio
    -drink plenty of water
-do 12-15 reps and lighten the weight instead of 8-10 reps heavy (you're not trying to gain strength during this period nor will you be able to)
Never forget what you once were.

Going to strongly disagree with this. Your number one focus should be not to lose any strength on a cut, even if that means significantly lowering volume or frequency. Losing strength is much more likely to equate to losing muscle. And low weight-high reps has no real benefit besides possibly burning a few more calories. If that's what you want, just add in some cardio.

Also have 1, ONE, cheat meal on the weekends or something, not a cheat day.

I agree with volume, not with frequency; you need to give your body a stimulus or a reason to keep what you've built.
    Also too high of dificits
A lot of newbs think in order to get lean or they say toned I have to do high rep work.
