19 years old and just started TRT. I made a new account as I prefer not to use my main account. Ask me anything and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

Yep, for life. 150 mg of test cyp a week
Self medicated. I live in a pretty small city and every doc I saw wanted to prescribe me ****ty androgel yet they put it into my head that shots were the devil. Also gel is hella expensive so I decided to go about it myself.

Nah naturally. I started off with hypothyroidism and after months on working on that and the rest of the hormones on my body, I barely got my test levels up to the high 3s. I now have a pretty good thyroid level and just about all my hormones in check. I saw a few doctors and one hormone doc in specific helped me try to find the underlying root. She is not authorized to prescribe shots and wanted me to get on gels but I said nah
150mg a week of test cyp. I also prefer to self medicate because most retard doctors have no idea on the half life of test and like to prescribe one shot every month or so

What was test level before? Cost out of pocket since I imagine insurance isn't covering anything? What was deciding factor in deciding to look into it?

250 a week is a lot for TRT. 100 is probably a lot better.
Don't go getting bald by 24.
Learn how to take your own blood pressure, and make sure you don't have issues with it. At 250 a week you're going to be in the hypertension range almost for sure... you don't want to sustain that past a typical cycle length...

What were the symptoms of your low levels? (this may be a dumb as phuck question idk)
Were you one of those kids that stayed like 5'4" with a high voice? (i knew one on my cross country team)

I started off at 210. After doing everything I could to get them up naturally, I was barely in the high 300's. I could have waited a few more years and possibly fixed myself but at 19 the future wasn't looking so bright and I wanted to enjoy the only early 20's I'll ever get to live. Strong logic many say, but you only live life once.
Hell yeah. But not now, right now my goal is to get a stablized dose and get all my blood work squared out. In the future yes I definitely plan to.
lol. Well test isn't to expensive but when self medicated an extra 100 mg a week can really add up. Plus I'm only trying to get to normal levels not trying to have dangerously high levels for life. There is a lot of consequences with test levels that are too high

I work in Urology and they are right. Adrogel is decent and is more of a steady dosage. Injection will shoot your test up real high then taper down. Your balls will also shrink.
For short term i would take injections to build lean weight. FOr long term i would go androgen.
Edit: Like all threads like this if anyone has any personal questions feel free to PM ME. I always try to help out in these types of threads.

Answered first question above. Cost is about 600 a year or about 50 a month including test, hcg, and an AI. a lot of people think its a big commitment for life, but think about it. You probably spend atleast 50 on supplements a month. And even for non lifters, everyone has one thing they spend on. This is like my own personal investment to make my life better.
Thanks for the advice. And yeah bro I plan to go no higher than 150mg a week on my trt dose until im blasing which like I said is still a while away
It's not a dumb question man, it's smart of you to be asking. I can't name them all, but do a quick google search you'll find tons of information on the first page alone.
Nice nice man. I've been criticized for jumping in so young, but you only live once and I don't want to waste the last years of child hood depressed and always worried about my natural test levels.
