    Exclamation Glutamine Rich Foods

Some "guy in the gym" recommended drinking SOY milk after 2-3 hours post workout, because it contains loads of Glutamine, will it be as good as "glutamine powders"? and should I try it? and will it affect my testosterone levels, since Soy contains lots of Estrogen?!

Next time I post this in the Nutrition Forum, sorry!

Glutamine isn't worth the cash. If you do drink soy milk, do it for the protein content only.

The "estrogens" in soy won't affect your testosterone level, that's a myth.

FYI - I am not sure exactly how much glutamine is in soy, but whey hydrolysate has about 6-7% glutamine, whereas wheat hydrolysate contained 26% glutamine, and both contain less glutamine than casein protein!
