    Diminishing sets

I am looking for some info on how to use this principle. I read that you do 1 set for 4 reps, rack the weight, take 10-15 deep breaths, complete as many reps as you can, repeating the process until you reach 10 reps. Is this sound correct. Is that the correct term for the above set, diminishing set?
    Thanks

It sounds like a Rest-Pause Set done Doggcrapp style:

Each set is done with three failure points. A bench press 11 to 15 rep set would begin with 8 reps to failure, rack weight, take 15 deep breaths, unrack, 2-4 reps to failure, rack weight, 15 deep breaths, unrack, and 1-2 reps to failure.

sounds like 'rest pause' training...which is pretty intense

if you are a beginner or in it for a couple years or less I seriously doubt you need rest pause

    Holy bump!

I have a feeling the OP won't be responding any time soon since his one and only post dates back to 2006
