It's been totalled. They offered me $5700, and I just sent in my invoices and maintenance records from this year to supplement that. I found this ZJ as a project:
But haven't heard back from the guy yet. Found an XJ as a secondary project prospect:
Drove a 2nd gen Cummins today. It's in the running for daily driver duties (needs steel wheels with some backspacing and a good set of tires, though):
Driving this 3rd gen HEMI tomorrow as a possible daily driver candidate:
Near, far, wherever you are...
...I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

My buddy's got a badass Ford diesel that you would not believe how fast it is. Unbelievable speed.
edit: 12's for a daily driver diesel jacked up with big ass tires. The shop that did all his work and tweaks the tune on it has pretty much an identical truck, even the same damn tires, with the only difference being the addition of nos and appropriate tuner changes and it ran 11.7. Bud says he's maxed out on HP without doing a big upgrade in trans and such but not needed because it's already too damn fast.Last edited by HairyScandinavian; 12-20-2012 at 07:28 AM.

A little story from today.
I have been stuck in NJ since the tragedy, and hearing about ammo and guns drying up everywhere I took a ride to Dick's to see if they had any 5.56, they had some value packs of AE .223 I was like I will take 2 boxes. He is like blah blah ID, im like ok show him my CT drivers license. He is like oh you need a foid card or some **** to buy ammo, im like lol que? So I say how about a CT conceal carry permit which should trump any pos permit that NJ has. He is like sorry I can't sell you any ammo, I'm like no problem I live in a free state and not use to these shenanigans, grabbed my gf and said lets get out of this shiit hole....
So hopefully when I go back home next week there will be some left. Not that I need anymore ammo, but there is no such thing of having to much ammo.Last edited by goodluck12; 12-20-2012 at 11:54 AM.

I just bought a new M&P compact, not panic buying, ive been wanting one for a while. My FFL sold it to me for 75 bucks less than anywhere else ive seen them.
Price gouging around here has been ridiculous though, in the past week ive seen stripped AR lowers going for 400+ bucks.-BMBC underground-

I still hate to see the price skyrocket like that. Supply and demand is one thing, but when people are panic buying and the price doubles, that just seems sh!tty to me. A couple shops around here that I frequent are actually having sales right now. I can assure you they will keep my business over the shops that decided to double prices.
Hows it going man?-BMBC underground-

Sick as a dog. Wife just took the youngest to urgent care. 48 hours on antibiotics and still can't control his fever, even with ibuprofin and tylenol.

Lucky SOB. The shift I volly works on xmas. I feel badman and gon bring them motherinlaws desserts.
Evening Lawler. Appears as if you are chipper as normal. Good to see your srs face.
I know that feel. Working with anyone admin in education is challenging.
No more classes till jan 1. Soon after that I will have clinicals, then rescues, then a few tests , then they will give me a piece of paper (license to kill).
