posted this in the gunbrah thread too but figured someone might see it here but not there
Not sure how many people buy gun related stuff from amazon but I do and I'm considering that viridian c5l that neginfluence linked in but I don't want to pay 270 for it so I stumbled across this tonight. Lets you put in a link to an item and shows you the price of it over time so you can see if you are getting a good price on it or if you can wait it out and get it cheaper. Anyhow, link here as an example.

Looks like there is a chance to save decent money on that yet...

Not so much on the UBR so maybe get it with my 10% off coupon rather than waiting.
And since it is the misc:

So, anyhow maybe everyone knew about that but me or maybe it helps someone out with being stingy."I'm not like most girls." -most girls

I was merging into the right lane because there was a car stopped turning left. She was going the opposite direction and turning left on that street. She must've had her view of me impaired by that other car. She started to turn, I was going 35, and that's all she wrote.

So did she turn into the far lane?
If you merged to the right lane to go around the stopped car, and she turned into the near line (like you should) = not a problem, amiright?
Or did you go around that car (into right lane and then back) and she got very unlucky in her timing/lack of seeing you/lack of yielding

She was in the far left lane facing East. She was turning north. I was facing West, in the far right (north) lane.
I got into the right lane, her view was probably obscured by the stopped car to my left, and she failed to see the Heep Jeep barreling down the road. Pulled in front of me and her Honda ceased to exist.Near, far, wherever you are...

I would have done the exact same thing back when I was in driver's ed (yeah, that was a short while ago) if the instructor didn't have a brake pedal on his side of the car. And it wasn't even a two lanes thing, the car turning left was in the intersection far enough that the car behind it could go around kinda on the right.

Much appreciated, all. The Jeep is still G2G, but I'm afraid the insurance company might just total it anyway. We'll have to see what happens.

This may be relevant to some of yall's interests: http://www.gearhog.com/?did=21189
Sorry brah. I rode almost daily for 4 years and came close to that scenario several times. I remember when I first started riding my dad sat me down and told me how it happened to him and he t-boned the car and went flying over the top. Then in the motorcycle class they went over it repeatedly. Way more common than we know. I lost my only real friend I ever had from high school to a motorcycle accident.

Yeah gotta be careful, but I was referring specifically to the calendar.
Donorcycle is what the nurses call them. ****ing whores at the hospital scared my wife so bad she wouldn't ride with me anymore. I used to love taking her to the movies or out to eat or whatever on the bike, even just a random trip to visit her parents on the other side of town a few times because it got 4x the gas mileage as my truck. She just started talking about how scared she was and pretty much quit.

Damn lawler, glad everyone was ok. Seeing that pic makes me feel safer for my sis who drives a jeep grand cherokee. I always feel safe in my F150, but i have seen vids of the crash test for it and it crumples up like a tin can at 40 mph.
Ive known a few people who have been in motorcycle accidents. my uncle was in one, survived but still. my GF's dad had his friend die. As much fun as it looks like driving on would be, they look equally as scary.

Thanks. I've been riding motorcycles since 2005 and dirtbikes since being a kid. People dont realize how many dangers are all around you on a motorcycle. There aren't seatbelts or air bags. I live out in the country so I gotta watch out for stupid drivers AND wildlife like deer. I've already locked up my rear wheel on several occasions trying to miss a deer.
