Plus some people think they want to be a cop, then they find out it isn't for them, for whatever reason.
Or it doesn't work out.
Or they just can't get hired on.
Good to have a degree to help with a different job/career.
Or just get you better pay/better promotion opportunities, depending on how the LEA you work for does it.

I been reading this thread for the last few days wondering where you were at, didn't realize the camera guy avi was changed LOL.
Oh yeah, and snakes aren't animals they're reptiles. But some people refer to them as spawn of satan, demonic slithering creatures, or earth scum. I tend to keep those names for scorpions mostly but sure don't care for the rattlers around the house.

I would change that avi back ASAP if I were you, ya pint-sized chubby *******.
Near, far, wherever you are...
...I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

hes claiming to have done all of those things and asks me if im jelly of him...
hes a old, washed up grunt who cant even do his job and fell short of his potential.
jakes on him making fun of wedding photography, and claiming to work for nat geo, yet he wont show any proof of such claims.
neg if you want, idc. i just neg him for life (cause hes a douche) and to help me spread so i can rep good posters.
im sure my view will change as im older and more stuff hurts, but if everything goes right, i;ll only have to work 25-30 years and be able to retire from LE and move onto my own business or whatever happens then.
Im not a teenager, im 12Your Dreams are within reach

My undergrad degree cost ~$300k in current dollars. Add another ~$100k for business school.
Dirty little secret: school costs so much because we subsidize it so heavily. We make student loans really cheap, which lets universities charge more. You pay the piper later.
If you made student loans cost what they should, half the people wouldn't go to law school and there wouldn't be a glut of lawyers. Instead, you get 45,000 new lawyers a year. A couple thousand get high paying, soul-killing jobs in biglaw. The rest get a $30,000 year job and $250,000 of student debt.

Depends on bite location. My Lab's face swelled up like a watermelon two years ago when the snakes first started showing up, pretty sure she got hit by a rattler. Oddly enough for some reason the face is the best place for them to be bitten. For some reason bites to the legs are much worse. I think in most cases it's not going to kill a dog, but most people aren't going to resist taking the dog to the vet and that's going to mean about $1,200 in treatment and antivenin injections, antibiotics, possible surgery to relieve the swelling.
