we got just shy of 4feet of water in the shore house, garage is knocked over onto the house and all the electrical stuff is messed up. dont know if the foundation is damaged or not but the entire house is most likely going to need to be knocked down and completely rebuilt. a house 3 away from mine was completely gone along w other houses on my street so i it really could have been alot worse. i'll see if i can get pics off my father, he had to take a bus to get on the island.

if you wanna drop that much money on a rifle why not get a scar. Not that I'm a fan of any overpriced piston AR but it's a better ride than the bushy. Or maybe take that money and build the best AR money could ever buy and use the rest for mags+ammo?

A better solution is to just get an airsoft version or mod a 10/22 since thats the only reason he wants it...

ive looked into even dropping a 10/22 or some old bolt .22 into a airsoft stock. and those arch angel kits but its more the time consuming part that i cant afford as per the funds atm

Hit the range today with my dad. Fired the Glock 26. Wish i could fit my pinky on it. No bullets taken to the legs or any part of the body this time, maybe next time. Showed my dad my new knowledge about the AR 15s they had in the shop section. It was awesome to hold one for the first time. His buddy, who is a gun NUT, has one and we are going to shoot it this saturday. Im so friggin pumped i cant even stand it! will report back with initial impressions and pics
