the problem was my son was born in November, and the software said I could take the child credit. They came back later and said they needed to be born before 7/1/2011. I already had my refund check by that point. I ran the program again and it said I didn't need to do anything. Then I get a letter from the IRS a few weeks ago.

Soooooooo i had a little accident at the range today. Went with my dad and was renting a S&W 1911 .45 ACP and was just ejecting my magazine after shooting when my dad, who was in the next lane over, asked "Is this yours?" while holding a crumpled up round. It had come back after hitting the end of the range, i guess, and hit him in the shin! he said it didnt hurt a lot but got his attention and he was bleeding a little.
Idk how often this happens but the range owner told me not to aim as high because he blamed it on the metal clip holding the paper targets up. I was hitting the middle of the target and wasnt aiming that high. I was nervous to shoot in there anymore, but said YOLO and kept going lol
