Sorry, I live in Mass. For what I want, general purpose range time, home/self defense, Maybe some Concealed carry. I just wan an all around reliable/quality gun for a good price. I know there are different tools for different jobs, but for now I just want something to have fun with.

Glock 26, or a similar quality pistol from another manufacturer. It can't be too big for a first/only concealed carry gun...especially somewhere like MA where concealed really will need to be concealed

Yea, I like the idea of any Glock, but worry about it being beat up since, they are all so old. there is a G26 for sale at one of the biggest dealers around, for 750. I have big hands though, so tiny guns kinda suck. Ill get to the store this weekend see if i can hold it.

You can send it back to Glock for a refurb, I am sure. I'd be sure to tell them about your state thing though so you don't end up with a too-new serial number or something.

At your size the G19 could be a better bet.

You can modify it once you purchase it, but it has to be sold like that. If the XD was available this convo most likely wouldn't be going on. Not all HK are mass compliant, each model has to be approved by the AG office I believe.
