I have a GSD mix. I meant that "they shouldn't be afraid of anything". You don't want a dog to be fearful of people; especially if it's a guard or attack dog. But a dog completely void of fear is of a faulty temperment. They don't know how to differentiate situations.

And thunderstorms scare even the brauniest dogs because to them, it sounds like the f*cking sky is falling down. They can't see or smell what's happening, but they can hear a caucaphony of violence.


And to answer your question, there are a few different answers. For a waterfoul hunter? Lab. For a guard/attack dog? The Caucasian Ovcharka is literally the top dog. Takes on Caucasas wolves, and can even outdo small-medium wildcats in battle. For a hunting dog that can also tussle with wild animals? South African Boerboel. For an all-around companion? GSD.

If I was going to get a bully dog, it'd be a Presa Canario.

My understanding is that males should weigh no less than 140-160, with anything over two hundo hindering performance.

Regardless, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Does it come with anything else? I would think that you should pay $300 for a used rifle & mags, but if he's throwing in a nice sling, case, ammo, etc, that would potentially make the price go up. Asking $400 for a $300 used rifle + $70 worth of used magazines is pretty stupid and you wouldn't be a prick if you called him out on it. At least give him an opportunity to make it right with either lowering the price or making it worthwhile to you. It is your money and you are the buyer that can just walk away and politely say, thanks but no thanks. As long as you comunicate with the fella, you won't be a prick.

He posted up a great pic of a hog that his kid took with it, then the rifle covered in blood because they had dressed the pig on top of it.

I love the fact that it doesn't require batteries, and there's a nuclear warning on the box. Mine sat on top of my airsoft rifle and was great for the night ops.
