golf pro here. Golf is one of the most pleasant things you can do. I golf solo a lot and will go out late on a weekend day for practice. I love walking over a nice picturesque fairway to a manicured green around dusk to find my ball sitting perfectly on that carpet of green. Very satisfying and good exercise too. Off hours, after 6 weekends, you can hit 2-3 balls, not hold anyone up and just work on your game. If you're new don't play core hours or be prepared to pick up and make up for multiple hits by hustling a bit.

Golf is the lulziest "sport" this side of bowling.
Near, far, wherever you are...

Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.

I consider it to be on the other side of bowling. Golf is just short of that obscurity line, whereas "sports" like curling and pole-vaulting lay far across it.
I see you're employing derp logic. I'm a pretty good fisherman, but that doesn't stop me from being bored to tears by it.
I don't care if I was shooting a 70 every round, there's no motivation to do a low-impact, non-athletic sport while my body can still go 0-100 in three seconds. No able-bodied male should be golfing when there's a world of football (real football), boxing, basketball, triathlons, running, and swimming available.Near, far, wherever you are...

But yeah, this totally looks like a blast. Much better than exerting myself to the limits of my coordination, endurance, and reflexes.Near, far, wherever you are...

40 hours of required research work...................28 hours of work in the bier store in the ghetto in armor with roughly ten hours between shifts ranging from nine to fifteen hours.
I am fail.
I dragged fish that recorded side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and magnetic signature for nine hours last Thursday over Eagle Cove Marina. I don't sunburn - grew up in the caribbean. So................we have a team of divers to retrace those steps on july 5-9. I love to dive in still, warm, high-visibility water. Need I say more? lol. I love the fact that I can get youngsters to do the things I don't want to do at times.

LOOK............. There is a 175 foot tall rock sticking out of the frozen northern waters of the Atlantic. You need to climb it and produce a knotted rope descending to the staring point so I can clim b it behind you without so much effort.
Story of my life.
Ask about the damnation abandoned oil rig sometime.

cannot tell if trolling or just being silly. Golf is a pass time more than a sport I will agree but by your logic, is baseball a sport? Are pitchers athletes? Is running a sport? It doesn't require coordination or reflexes and technically golf requires both but not endurance.
Being able to land the green 9 times out of 10 within 180 yards is more impressive to me than being able to run a marathon. I see a lot of bloated soccer moms with 26.2 stickers on their cars and I could probably still go out and pitch 6 goods innnings for federation but I can't break a single digit handicap to save my life."I'm not like most girls." -most girls
