I told them I need to save money and keep costs down with used parts and such so it's taking longer. Still waiting on the estimate.

Is speer gold dot still considered the standard for self defense/carry ammo? Also for revolvers?

hola you're obviously a smart guy but is there a point in here somewhere? Anyone would be an idiot to assume it will always play out this way. They would be just as foolish to assume it would always play out this way with a 40/45 or even a 10. Just the same they would also be an idiot to assume 9mm is meek and incapable of killing easily. The only assumption one could reasonably make is that you stack the odds of a one stop shot more in your favor with a bigger caliber all things such as shot placement being equal.

That's what I carry in my wheel gun. Rangers are popular, as are a handful of other ones. I don't think you can go wrong with any quality expanding round.

I told them I need to save money and keep costs down with used parts and such so it's taking longer. Still waiting on the estimate.

$2,500 to fix it with used parts and banging out dents with no re-paint, etc. That doesn't include fixing the air bags either, they would just cut the deployed bags off and tuck them back in.

I dunno if it's worth it, this truck was probably only worth $7k-$8k as it was. After we fix the air bags we'll be in for around $4k and it will need $1,000 in tires too bringing us to $5k spent to get it back on the road. Feels like **** but I'm thinking of just selling it as a wreck if I can get anything for it.

Can you post up a pic? I totalled my parents astro van driving to show off to buddies in winter. The front end got smashy as well as the rear passenger sliding door and lights in back. The engine and the trans both still worked fine so we pulled those, had some company come pick up the rolling chassis for a tax break and the engine/tranny/good body panels/dash cluster got sold on craigslist. Takes a bit of time, but if you have the patience and space to sit a busted car go for it

pics or it didnt happen...id say the money is worth it for your son to have a truck which you know is going to be reliable. i guess you wouldnt be getting new bags tho which may not be the best idea for a new driver but its also a truck....who knows
