Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you in there.

One favor please, no pics of dead animals. I'm not anti-hunting at all, but I saw a slo-mo gif of a deer getting shot in the head, and I'm still having nightmares.

Dammit I missed out. I just ordered the 960, it's waiting for me in a UPS box on my front porch right now! I would have bought a couple of these, that's the perfect amount of light and good quality. We're using the hell out of flashlights right now deer and duck hunting.

Sheit dam kids. Im doing well. Same old stuff really. Had the opportunity this year to meet several miscers IRL which was fun. Did some traveling. Looking forward to continue that trend next year. Thus far I am hoping to hit up Colorado, see my friend as well as Lawler and possibly head south to Arizona as well. Got my CCL which is neat to live that lifestyle

Because it's only been back in the misc for a few weeks. Around two years ago it got moved over to Sports Training in the great misc re-org of 2011-2012. That really killed participation in this forum.

Got kids? That makes christmas a lot more enjoyable when you get a few years under your belt.

Don't get me wrong, do go knock up some lass just cause you want the spirit of Christmas back. But it is a lot of fun watching the kids go nuts and putting together their crap.

My birthday is on the eve, and I'm planning to make my family go do something with the local vfw instead of giving me gifts. I don't need junk. And I'd rather see and old vet get some happiness over the holiday than a Applebee's gift card. We are going to push a bit poor of the giving aspect of Christmas on the kids next year instead of a crap load of gifts.

My bad I have not been in here. I do not have children. I feel like that is the sentiment in my family as well, no one needs or wants more things. That is a good idea to emphasize giving to others for your kids.

How was your birthday, Christmas, New Years ?

Birthday was normal. Worked for most of it. Christmas was nice. Parents came over and I put together a trampoline for youngins. New years party was a bit of a snore this year. Usually it is much better, but was rather bleh.

You're getting old! I know what you mean though. I returned all my christmas presents this year except for what my son picked out for me. They were all nice and thoughtful gifts but ultimately I'd prefer that my loved ones had that extra cash in their pockets and I already buy myself anything I want. This was received with mixed reactions.

On a related note, one of my new years resolutions is not to buy any 'toys' for the whole year. We'll see how that goes.
