I opted for the PRK version which is approx $3995. PRK doesn't create the flap. It reshapes the outside of the eye versus reshaping just the lens. It is recommended for most people who risk being poked in the eye for any number of reasons.
iLasik is the procedure that cuts the flap, That one is $4995. the recovery time is faster with iLasik, but the flap will never heal to 100 percent. Both are good options. and I wasn't sure what I wanted.Stats 6'6" 245lbs

I went to the eye doc for the first time ever a few weeks ago. 20/20 vision, but I have a slight astigmatism that could be corrected with glasses, but it's not needed. I'm the only one in my family that doesn't wear glasses. Luck of the draw, I guess.

Day 5 of PRK crew.... the first few nights were rough. I had to wear protective contacts for recovery. They were more painful than everything else. I guess the doc was supposed to rx me some Pain meds for comfort and never did. The first 2-3 days after PRK is uncomfortable but worth it in the end. Final check up is today, I get those lenses out. So far its looking like 20/20.Stats 6'6" 245lbs

I have a pair of Georgia boots for really cold weather and hunting. They have extra room in the toe that helps a lot.The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Tony Lama or Lucchese. They have some unreal boots.
I'm not looking for anything flashy. Something like this:
