Cooked 1300 pounds of bacon and 1500 pounds of sausage patties for the Fireman's breakfast on the 4th. Forearms were cramping like hell after 6 hours of running spatulas. My back is still siezed up from standing in front of the grill for the whole day.
The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Thinking about painting my front, rear and side moulding on my XJ this weekend with either some bedliner spray or some krylon rattle can black. not sure if i wanna take the front and rear moulding off or if i should just tape everything off with some newspaper and painters tape. Also gonna pick up some Fluid Film and spray to any rusty parts to help stop the rust from getting any worse
EDIT: like this

I ran a Zone lift on my ZJ. It wasn't half-bad, but I'd go Iron Rock if I was you. I ran an Iron Rock on my WJ and liked it more. Here's a 3" kit for under $500: Iron Rock Kit
3" Lift Front Coil Springs
Rear 2.5" Lift Add-a-Leaf Kit with Centering Pins and Clamps
Hydro Shocks
Transfer Case Drop Kit
Extended Front Sway Bar Links
Rear Brake Line Drop Bracket
Near, far, wherever you are...

Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

I'd also upgrade the track bar, if I was you. It's like $120 or so.

Not the best, but a good start. You will be just opening a can of worms and will probably need...
Transfer case drop
Adj. Track bar
HD shackles
Lower control arms
Steering stabilizerLast edited by 2k10SS; 07-06-2013 at 04:18 PM.

The one I linked to is the same price, and already has a T case drop and sway bar links. And there's no reason for an adjustable track bar on a 3" short arm lift.
2K, pls go.
No, but an extended driveshaft can't hurt if you've got the extra coin. Whatever you do, avoid hack n' tap SYEs like the plague and get legitimate kits like the Advanced Adapters various setups if you're going to go that route.Near, far, wherever you are...
