saw thread on misc extolling the virtues of sriracha sauce. Have only ever used it in pho but after all the glowing reviews and people saying they eat it on everything I made it into a marinade for chicken with some pepper flakes, 1/4 cup water and black pepper.

Was going to eat it on rice with an arrogant bastard for dinner since im home alone tonight... one bite in and that changed to chicken sandwich with a glass of milk and 20 minutes later im still sweating. holy ****.

Found an AMSEC 14 gun safe for 925 Its that or a tractor supply one for 500 that Hola recommended. I would prefer the AMSEC but It would take me a while to save up the extra dough, when I would rather start my collection.

Id imagine a safe lasts you a life time unless your collection grows significantly. Is the AMSEC rated higher for fire resistance?

On the websites, they both list the same Fire rating. They look to have pretty much the same rated everything. The Tractor supply winchester is 599. and is UL rated lock, and UL rated for burglary/RSC/Cali DOJ compliant. I figure the AMSEC is too, since they are supposedly higher end

I've got a 17 gun safe that you have to bolt down or else when you get 4 feet of water in your house it will float....

Wife shot me a couple links to rings for her with the kids birth stones in them. She's happy.

Tell that to the FD... apparently the whole point of a water proof safe is to protect your firearms from the water the fire department puts down when you have a fire. Since my safe is in the basement and there aren't any open portholes down there, I'd like my guns to be in decent shape... Plus I since it has a good fire rating I keep my important documents in there as well.

Wife...kids... I'm alright with it. my daughter goes fishing, plays golf with me, wants to hang out, doesn't complain about me drinking, and LOVES when I drive fast. Can I really ask for much more? Max is still pretty young, but when I walk in the room and make ANY noise he looks for me and smiles when he confirms that it's me he heard.
Wife is pretty damn cool as well. She's a damn good shot, doesn't complain TOO much when I golf (even encourages it at times), goes fishing, picks crabs for me and doesn't eat the meat, stays home with the kids, cuts my toe nails, and feeds me well (too well at times).

Could be worse, I could be single trolling bars.

yeti-it seems the only time i have to watch tv is for MLB/NFL/NHL+the ocasional burn notice or NCIS, will check it out soon tho now that im going to have alot more freetime very soon
