Kicking is not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. Most people will struggle to kick above waist height, but only for lack of dedication. I guarantee that if you stick with the hip flexor exercises and stretch your hammies religiously, you'll get 'em up high after a few months.
Team Torro is basically a viper's pit. They dominate Thai boxing in IL, and are pretty well known around the country. If I ever find myself back in Chicago, I will definitely get over there ASAP.
I toyed with VMware like 10 years ago when it first came out, but that's it for VMware. Now I use Hyper-V where I'm at now but it's only hosting some desktops that I have home users remoting into to work from home so it's not like a big production environment. I told them in the interview I hadn't touched VMware for a LONG time and they said great our stuff is so old you probably used it and we all had a laugh. Part of the project is to bring it all up to current so I'm gonna have a sharp learning curve if I expect to make it there.
Sounds cool. Feel free to ping me with the vmware stuff if you'd like. I'm getting pretty heavily into it.

I may need to, lol. Honestly I'm a bit creeped out because the interview was very non-technical. I usually expect to be drilled on technical things but this was more of a few general questions about what I've done in the past and we talked about fishing the rest of the time. LOL I knew it was in the bag once we were talking aboot fishing but damn I kind of wish they would have hit me harder with technical stuff just so I would be more comfortable with making the move.
4wd doesn't work in my truck, how much are they predicting down there? Looks like they think we getting 8-24 inches of snow. Going to head out snowboarding sat I think.

Fort Carson in Colorado Springs should have quite a few government contract IT positions. There's a hospital there as well. Anything that would prevent you from obtaining a clearance?
There's sure to be openings at the DTC (Denver Tech Center); a collective of various 10-25 story office parks the size of downtown Phoenix on Denver's south end. Plenty of tech stuff to do in the Castle Rocks, Monuments, and Thorntons that bridge the cities together, I'd bet. And as Hairy pointed out, Fort Carson is probably an option (although that area BLOWS).
I don't work in the field, so I couldn't say for sure, but there is definitely no shortage of tech demand in CO.

Nice, i've got a friend working in Aspen atm. And i'd be clear for security clearances. I'm thinking Texas or Colorado if I do plan on a move.

Well, let's review:
-Cheaper cost of living
-Less crime
-Less populated
-4 wheeling, skiing, camping, hunting, hiking, rock climbing, rally racing, you name it, we got it (all within 90 minutes of Denver)
-Great art scene
-Best brewery hotspot in the country
-Local music scene that would give Austin a run for the money
-Living at a 5,400+ will take your cardiovascular, respiratory, and circulatory health to the next level
I honestly couldn't handle living anywhere else besides WA, OR, AZ, or HI.
If you get to that part of the day, bring a warm blanket and some pop tarts to the gym, lulz
made it there and back fine...the adventures in between are a different story tho....video inbound

If you dissect the bigger ones you can fire up the grill after you're done. Show that class how things are done.
just dissected the lower half of the piglet today, my lab partner literally made me do all the work, i just took out of my head that it was real and just acted as if it was plastic. everything was pretty in order as in the diagrams.
