That's funny because since I got my new xbox (Christmas 2011) I haven't played on my PC is almost a year now.

I play FPS almost exclusively. There's no incentive to use a console. PC boasts:
-More accurate, precise, and quicker aiming
-Every server is dedicated
-Servers support 64 players on FPS, with numbers in the hundreds on MMOs
-INSANELY better graphics
-Better sound
-Quicker frame rate
-Not being nickel-and-dimed for DLC every six weeks
-Mods
-Games are anywhere from 20-70% percent cheaper
-No compressing levels/maps
-No 13 year olds yelling racial slurs and calling you a phaggot every night
-Stiffer competition
-Better games
-VOIPs>>>chats and parties

im not going to be an ass and argue w anything you said cause its all true but I still prefer the controller over the keyboard+mouse lulz. i suppose as i play more i should like the PC set up better but the controller is literally second nature now.
whats the deal on gaming keyboards+mice? i just use a wireless Logictech keyboard+mouse...are the fancy ones worth the money? will i notice a diff?

I am right with you. That's why you only see me playing tiger woods, NASCAR, mx vs ATV, and combat aces when I get on. I have got umpteen thousand hours in fps games. I got a bit burned out. My gaming rig has turned itself into a server.

I HATE the way the "competition-level, high-grade" gaming mice are setup. They've always got unnecessary sh*t plastered all over them and the ergos are goofy for everyday use. And a keyboard's a keyboard, in my book. You'd have to be a professional gamer for the millisecond of lag between input and action to make a difference.

I guess I like that aiming is more difficult on the console. It gives me an advantage, because I'm good at it (extremely experienced). Almost everybody else on the console is using a controller too, after all.

The keyboard needs to be comfortable, and going from wireless to wired makes a big difference. A high res mouse is all you need, not some overly complicated hunk of plastic. You can spend $40-60 on a mouse and $25-50 on a keyboard and be in good shape.

console games...outside of playing worms when drinking...no thanks.
Wat??? I'm a PC gamer through and through, but simulation and sports games are useless on a PC. And I can play stuff with my kids on the console, but it's tough on the PC.
The PC destroys the console in most realms, but the casual gaming side you can't beat a console.
The Mac is useless all around, though...
