Never happened before, if it is Seasonal Affective Disorder. I think I might just be fighting off something, though. I'm freezing cold (eventhough I have the heat up and a bunch of clothes on) and all I want to do is sleep, lol. Conventional wisdom + experience tells me that whatever it is, I should probably stay warm and get some rest.

That sounds like you might have the flu if youre cold with the heater on

No doubt. There's a lot of cold/flu going around. I've had something or another for the last week.

True - there's been sht going around. Hopefully it fades fast for you. I don't think I have the flu, though. More like fighting something off. I get that on occasion. But the combination with the blah from the season change just makes it pretty slow going, lol.

I'm having a strain/cramp type of feeling just below my left shoulder blade on my back when I'm back squatting.....not sure if it's the way I'm holding but anyone else had this problem before?? If so how did you fix it? Actually im quite sure it's the way im holding it but it's only happening to my left side which is weird

Never happened to me before but for the last 3 weeks it's been a huge problem after my 5th or so rep in most my sets

Haven't done back squats in years, but just out of curiosity; are you squeezing your traps together?

Foam roll that area every night and see if it helps. Maybe just gotten tighter.

Also are you high bar squatter? Try it with low bar squatting and see if you can still feel it. Like I said sounds like you just need to foam roll/loosen up that muscle nicely. I would even foam roll before hitting some squats.

This is how I workout.. seasonally, 6 - 8 months out of the year.

Do you take Vitamin D3? I started taking that this year (10,000 iu/day) and I can tell my overall mood is better.

Yup! Actually, this year is the first time I've been taking it. I think I started taking it in Spring time.
