    What's up rayshockey17,

At 14 your going to want to focus on your conditioning and on-ice skills.

Things like uphill sprints, agility ladder drills and working on your balance will be very beneficial.

As far as on-ice skills, focusing on your skating, stick handling, directional changes etc. will all improve your development.

    Couldn't have said it better.

Agility drills, sprints, body weight exercises, squats, squat jumps, lunges, chin ups, balance drills, core exercises. Work on stick handling in the off season and shot some damn PUCKS!!

Good practical advice here! You could get your teammates together and have road/roller hockey games too. Playing is the best way to improve!

"The legs feed the wolf, gentlemen"

Never forget it! Stronger, faster legs are always an advantage. Plyometrics were helpful to me. I despise jumping squats, but don't doubt their usefulness.
