OP prepare to hate your life.
Next year your lifts and practices are going to be straight hell. While i love my sport and my school, i find myself hating it sometimes because of all the bull**** we (student athletes) have to go through.
So what im saying, even if it doesnt seem like it, is be strong minded. Dont let the **** get to you and realize that when you are puking your guts up at 6 in the morning, that you will be getting more pussy just because you play football than any ***got frat guy. Plus you are going to school on somebody elses money. Not yours.

That has nothing to do with it.
And out here in the west, there is no 1a, 2a, etc. It's Div 1 being the highest, Div 2, Div 3, Div 4 etc. Also, Divisions are set by enrollment, not skills. Some small enrollment schools play div1 regular season out here in calif, but once the post season starts, they are put into a division based on enrollment and not skills. But that's mostly for private schools. Public schools general have a huge enrollment. so ya they go to certain division based on other things than enrollment.
My hs was one of the tops in the state but only had 1000 enrollment. We were a private hs playing in a public league. So all the other schools in conference had nearly 3000 students. So fyi..in HS sports, divisions dont mean all that much.
Played for a D1 team and ya frosh playing varsity are few and far in between but it happens.Last edited by SDOptimist; 03-28-2012 at 09:29 PM.
