No 'fail' there .... I couldn't do a weighted pull-up with 70lbs let alone get near a flag unweighted
That is just a huge BW workout

What a great gift from the kids! You look huge in that T and looking like someone in their late twenties (or maybe a teen who's had a hard life )
Big and cut!
As far as work goes though, the Obama administration (CMS) is currently working to systematically crush my field. Within the next 2 years, expect less than half of Prosthetists to provide service in the US (and almost none to Medicare beneficiaries). There's only 7,000 of us in the US (26 in Idaho) servicing roughly 300 million people.
That's disheartening, but have faith that things will work out okay.

Good work as usual.
Don't know what to tell you about the gym gawkers, other than your comment about people being weird is on-point.
No brain, no gain.
You can't out-train bad nutrition.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon
That is probably the best pic of have seen of you yet... really gives a sense of how big you are. Cool shirt too
Funny, I thought I looked especially skinny in it. Love it more for the idea that my kids saw this shirt and thought of me.

Thanks. It was a good kind of fail. I'll get it yet.

Thanks Will. I know I'll be ok, this is America, so there will always be something for me to do. I worry a bit about my patients though (as well as when I need care in the future).
Gave the bi’s the day off. Figured they don’t really ever get a break so why not.

Yep, have to agree with Fitty, you could easily pass for a 20yr old. Still, I've yet to see any with arms like yours.

Concur. Mr Incredible for sure. Great pic! Re the flags, would you say it's adding tangible strength and size? From what little I've tried to do with flags, it works my core, shoulder and lat. Do you think with these things like your pull ups your military press have grown also?

Idk about twenty but at least I look healthy "for my age" I think.

It's tough I say. On one hand the scapulo thoracic stability required certainly must help and develop things. On the other, I've had to scale back the weighted pull ups to make room for them. Tit for tat I think. From a functional level I think they've helped and my kids love em.

Notes:
-not sure why my left lat felt funny but it wasnt funny so I figured 405 was enough today since lats are up tomorrow.

Nice work 'rowing' 315. Good effort to deadlift the 405 with the lat feeling tweaked but smart move to take it easy
315 x 5 Squats; 9pps x 12 leg press and those quad sets makes up for a sick session anyway! Always jealous of how your strength carries through on every single exercise that you do

Notes:
-Flags took a lot out of my triceps of all things today.
-70 lb flags were much improved from last week
-Flag Pull ups were harder than they should have been
-too many people around for a pic, but man I had a good pump going today.

I concur with fittyfattyfitty and everyone else, had I not known about this journal and just saw your pic in that t-shirt on the web I would've assumed some 20-30 something elite gymnast was posing for fun or something.
Cmoore, I read a long time ago in this journal (spare me the search) about how you measure your potassium with your sodium. Lately, I've seen a couple potassium threads on the forum, and am hoping you could explain why you balance and count it, what it does, or does for you. Layman's terms would be nice, but if you have to get scientific thats fine too. Thanks.
Weighted pull-ups: BW+plate for 20 rep sets ... awesome stuff Chris and I'm not surprised that the pump was hyooge! Delts must've looked like basketballs
