I tried to get a small hook and pull them out...no luck. It was noisy when I first picked it up so I dripped some oil down through the pin holes and spun the bar...it got quiet. Do you have any pics of your bar?

I don't seem to mind the rubber grips on my bar... Or maybe Im not curling with a heavy amount of weight for the grips to bother me :-P

My older York curl bar is not long enough to be used with a Bodymasters overhead tricep/ curl bench that I like to use. I am looking to buy a new Ez curl bar and would like it to Be a split sleeve . I checked out Yorks wesight an they only have one with this ****ty rubber grips on them. Does anybody have one of the newer York split sleeve Ez curl bar? If so how do you like it? Any info on this would be appreciated thanks

I was also looking at the new York EZ bar. I'm not sure if it is important to you but it looks like it may also have shallow bends compared to other curl bars. I think I like the curves on their econo bar better but I also want the split sleeve.

YES, My house has been on & off the market in the past few years..It's under agreement right now....could take up to 90 days to pass papers....Looking for a more conservative city to move to....Can't stand all these Liberal Democrats in this city :-P

Congratulations on selling the house, looking for a more conservative are requires moving South for the most part, or parts of the Mid-West. Big cities have gotten liberalized on a whole, as have some states bordering real Liberal States (ie. Colorado). I'm in N.C. and love it, previously from NJ, and I still have VT property I can't sell, so I understand liberals and tree huggers, just don't want to live with them ;o). Good luck with the house search.

I knew someday the house would sell and I would have to move so.... I've decided to limit my collection to the older stuff 1930's-1940's York Stuff and My waxed out Jackson Globes...I will be keeping about 500# of old Olympic Ivankos. I will also keep my Powertec Bench Press, Powertec Shoulder Press and my Bio-Dyne Lat machine with ALL my FAT BARS..and a utility bench....The rest of the stuff will have to go.... Hahahaha I've got the rest of my life to hunt for them Patina covered Jacksons....Building a new garage/man cave will be in my future plans.

Bobby, where you planning on moving to? (What town). Hopefully not too far from me, it's handy when I pick up Iron at your place.
I hear ya about the Libs in this area, brutal!

Just bought this off of CL for $125. Seller said he moved west from PA. Said bar was used by son in York Powerlifting competitions at York back in the day. Showed me the news articles... kinda cool. Anyway, what can you guys tell me about this bar. It has a stamping of "P" on each end and on one end it has "700" stamped. Did I do ok, and what would the bar be new.

GTECH Fitness is selling stainless needle bearing bars for $800. I think you got ripped off! Nice pick up. I'd love to come across a stainless bar.

Were looking at mostly NH towns Salem, Windham, Pelham, Hudson....NEW HAMPSHIRE........ And Dracut, Mass is a possibility....but I hope NOT..... Where we move to is the wife's call......gotta think about the kids too they have a couple of years left in school. My youngest is in the 9th grade...

NH is pretty much a swing state in my opinion...Maybe someday it will go RED !!!!!

Awesome. I noticed that the knurl does not extend all the way to the sleeve (as a typical vintage York Oly bar does) and the knurl also looks a bit deeper (than the typical vintage York Oly bar).. Vintage stainless York Power Bar.. very cool.
