You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

1650 lb. lot on CL. Asking a little much at $2K. My very forgiving wife would never stand for either amount.

The lister says it's from a friend's estate and he's helping the wife sell. Wonder if it's the fella asked about prices here not too long ago.
Anyways he's listed these plates and some roundheads with more to come. I see some globes in the pic.

This was posted already in the craigslist thread. In any event, I was there last week. What's left is over priced. Plates are worth at most .75/lb I would think. None of them are older, none of them are unmarked and all the 2 1/2,5&10lb milled plates are mia. I also got lots of dumbbells, multiple other brands of plates including Good, Jackson, Saxon. That's where the Deep Dish came from.

What was the point of the "Weider Lever"? I've never heard of it but I googled it and found a youtube video of it in use... and I'm still not sure of its purpose. LOL. Looks fun though.

I've only been able to dig up limited info. Looks like it may be from the '50s. Leverage use makes the exercise such as curls harder especially with proper form. I tried using them briefly this morning. I'm guessing you saw the video by Tom B. Skinny had seen one on ebay last year, other than that pictures are limited.

Cute lever. Maybe you should start a Weider thread.

My York collection is growing, I got these 20 kg bumpers to go with my 25's a few weeks ago. Big thanks for Haku123 for hooking me up, and my wife for meeting up with him and picking them up for me.
And the hunt continues!

Got great advice from SmokinJoe, my mission is complete. Found them DD-iamonds in the rough. I am stoked and tired as ffff. Also didn't see milling on the back of any of these plates.
Here is today's haul, now I know I gotta clean them up, but that's for another day. The Olympic bar does spin, not a lot but I get 5 spins. Now the interesting curl bar, which I never seen before. Hopefully the gurus can shed some light on it. $120 bucks plus 10 for the curl bar, was intrigued by it. Last pic is the sleeve of the curl bar, which also spins no noise on either bar.
My lightings stink in my garage will post better before and afters...
More to come...

Nice haul, congrats! Did you get any 25's, 10's, 5's, or 2.5's?

He had some 25's no markings at all and no milling either, wasn't sure if they were York. Still learning. I was just happy getting the DD's since my last deal didn't go as planned. Took 1 day to find a pair (DD's) Thnx SmokinJoe great advice.
I was gonna trade my Ivanko's OM for a pair of DD straight up his idea, but he sold them by the time he came up, can't blame him. We will be trading again.
I got my Roundheads for $200.00 which he paid for (I found the cg listing and made the deal) and traded my 6 OM's for it (paid 135 for them) and kept the 35's and 25's. Alot easier finding OM'S around here for 50cent, than York's.

A local powerlifter has a rack of plates that look like these. His are sample cutouts from large pieces of steel , then he had a friend bore the hole in the middle. On the plates he has, the weight varies, he weighs them and paints the weight on each plate. No idea if your picture is the same thing or not.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

The lever reminds me of these triangular shaped dumbbells except they seem to be used differently.

Thanks! It took me around a year to find the 20's from when I picked up the 25's. I agree I need to find the 15's now, even if I could find another set of 20's or 25's so I had a useable set I would be happy. In my area I know there is another set of 20's & possibly 25's floating around somewhere and I am patiently waiting for the person who has them to buy a bowflex and get out of free weights and them to get listed again!
