You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Looks like that pair of York hundos that I posted several pages back have remained unsold for the last month. Talked to the seller, and I should be able to pick them up next weekend on my way back from Phoenix for $120. Maybe I'll get me a York Barbell Crew number here in a couple of weeks

Just got what you see... More singles to add to the list of matches I need haha
I was just happy with the price. They were mixed in with a bunch of generic standard weights, and can probably flip some of those and come out in the green. That is, until the next Yorks show up haha

Landed my best deal to date today:
6x45 lb Ivankos
1x45 lb Milled York
2x35's with the 35 going clockwise this time (Older?)
2x25's (Only one is milled though?)
3x10's (One milled)
1x5 to match my single I already had
1x45 no name, but similar casting (got it to round out a pair)
1x10 same reasons as above
All of this cheered me up after missing out on a pretty good CL deal! Turned out to be a decent Sunday.

Why do the 40's on all of the bun sets I see look like roundheads. Also, is the inconsistency in the lettering and number direction because of bells made from different times?

I need to figure out how to refurb these things. Was thinking about hitting it with a wire wheel with my angle grinder, but I was worried that it would scratch into the iron since the wires are steel. I've a bunch of naval jelly too. Was also considering just finding someone to sandblast them.
Looked for markings on them, found "MWR EG" stamped on both of them, which I assume is for military Morale, Warfare, and Recreation, so they originally came from a mil base. Dunno what the EG means. Could have been initials for the name of the base gym.Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605

Don't use an angle grinder. Wire wheel brush is fine. If you sandblast go for less destructive media. You may find foundry putty on the plates and the sandblasting could remove the putty. You are right on MWR. Don't know about EG.
