    Dumbbell Maintenance?

I have a set of Cast Iron dumbbells, that have a bit (not much) of rust on them, as well as some dust and grime. How should I go about cleaning and maintaining them? I received a bit of mixed information. One place says to take soap and water then dry them before rusting. The other says to take a nylon brush to brush the rust, then add oil overnight, them wipe the next day.

Also how about my power rack?

    Yes.

Wash with soap and water, dry thoroughly, then wipe with a thin coat of oil.
