4s, 6s, and 9s are the hardest to find. 2s are relatively easy to find. I had to pay $100 to get my pair of 9s. With the 4s and 6s I got lucky.

75 lb plates they were made for penn state university . They are much easier to grip and use then those monster 100 lbs Plates

You can clean that rust off your bar with steel wool. What kind of set do you have? If you post pics I can probably tell you what era it's from.

I'm going to look into doing that, thanks. When I go through with the effort of hanging up my new heavy bag then I'll decide if I'm going to do it or not.

At that point then I'll post pictures.

Hey York Dorks.

Anyone near North FL should check out this guys stuff. I've actually saw his collection of York and other vintage brands about a year ago when I bought a piece of furniture from him off craigslist. It was awesome.

This is a blue roundhead... that I repainted black. It was originally in great condition but I incorrectly assumed that the blue paint was not original so I repainted it.

This thread was so many pages back I thought it was erased. Come on now York BB club let's step it up and make some good finds!!!!! Got my first vintage milled bumper plate today yes only 1 I tore threw an entire warhouse to find the other but no luck. I was pissed ..then shifted and now it gives me somthing to look forward to finding another one. For a $20 dollar bill it was worth it.

Just thought I would pop in to say hello. Wow, the York Barbell Club has grown quite bit since I was last on here. LOL!

Oldtime Strongman gets their shirts from York Barbell, in York, PA, according to the manager of York's outlet shop in York. I've seen two different types of York Barbell t-shirts, both original designs, in black, white, and red. I believe white and red were original colors for the t-shirts. You probably will have to travel to York to get a shirt. There was a company in Japan selling knock-offs, though I have no further informaiton on that company.
