Hey guy's, I just got the new Animal Nitro from Universal Nutrition. I've been posting about it before on the New Animal Product thread in the supplements forum and it's finally here . Let me give you my stats: I'm 5'9" 185lbs 10% bodyfat and have been training for 8 years now. My current supplements are protein (Nectar from Syntrax), flax oil (Health from the Sun), Animal Paks (Universal) and Liver Tabs (Universal). These all have been staples in my supplement plan for years now. I will keep you guys informed of my results from the Nitro. According to the directions it recommends 2 packs a day so I'll be taking one pack before my workout with grape juice and 1 pack after the workout with grape juice.

I just wanted to update you guys. In case any is wondering what the product looks like...it's a pack of 8 capsules. I'll be bringing the two packs with me to work so I can take one pack right before the gym (30 minutes) and then the second pack immediately after the gym. These packs make it so easy...I don't have to worry about bringing the container to work just 2 packs and I'm set. Exercise-wise I'll be sticking to the same exercises each week so it'll be easier to see if there's any progress in the lifts. So far I'm feeling good...not sure what to expect in the first few days. But I feel recovered and we'll rested. Anyone else out there use this product yet?

We have no salmon here either, but I can get the salmon fillets this weekend and stick it in my ass on Monday morning when everyone is gone.

I am interested to see what kind of results you get. I personally have more faith than some in this forum, of the Animal products. I am thinking of trying some. So keep us posted and any other feedback is helpful.

Well its been 4 days that I've been on Nitro...the main thing I feel right now is that my recovery is quicker. My muscles feel fuller after my workouts. I wake up feeling refreshed and somewhat pumped. It's still early so I don't know what else to expect but I'll keep track of any changes in my body and lifts. Let me breakdown my workout routine a little better so I can keep track of any strength gains.
Monday:
Chest/Calves/Abs
Chest
• Pushups: 1 warmup set
• Incline Bench Press: 4 Sets x 10, 8, 6, 6 (last set at 225lbs.)
• Flat Bench Dumbbell Press: 4 Sets x 10, 8, 6, 6 (last set at 90lbs.)
• Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes: 3 Sets x 12, 10, 8 (last set at 60lbs.)
• Pushups: Immediately following the last set of dumbbell flyes, finish the chest with one set of pushups to failure
Calves
• Donkey Calf Raises: 4 Sets x 20, 15, 15, 12 (whatever the machine goes up to- 400lbs.)
• Standing Calf Raises: 4 Sets x 20, 15, 15, 12 (last set 300lbs.)

mines a little different..
altho i may get flamed for using animal M stack, i dont care i didnt pay for it and also i am noticing results from it.. but anyways this is how my stack is going to go:
week 1: animal M stack (finished)
week 2: animal M stack (in the middle of)
MAX BENCH: 265

week 3: animal M stack and animal nitro
week 4: animal nitro (alone)

most amino acid pills are so cheap because so much **** is added to them its more like a "protein pill" as described on animalpak.com animal nitro is supposed to be the purest around.

Well it's been a little over a week since I've been on the Nitro. I have my bodyfat checked last night...it's gone down .6%. But my bodyweight has stayed the same. My strength has increased on flat bench...I went from 225 @ 6 reps to 235 @ 6reps, Also with squats I was able to grind out 325lbs (btf's) for 7 reps- so in these lifts I was up. Overall I'm feeling pumped and refreshed for my workouts...recovery time seems quicker and I'm more mentally focused during the workout. I really want to see what happens if I stack this with a creatine product but first I want to try this product for the full cycle before adding anything else to my supplement arsenal. But so far so good.
