    Javelin training?

    I'm looking to improve my javelin throw, any training tips/potential workouts?

    I don't know too much about sport specific training for javelin but I would think the following would help:

    Medicine ball slams, med ball two-arm throws, med ball wall throws, tire chops and core work.

    Get stronger and more powerful in the gym in compound exercises like deadlifts, rows, presses, powercleans/snatches and faster on the track (short sprints upto 40m a couple of times a week) will help complement your specific javelin training.
