Smile Working out 6 days a week, is this too much? Will it damage my muscles?

Hey guys! Just wondered if lifting 6 days a week is too much? I'm eating properly and resting on sundays.

    This is my routine:

    Mondays: Chest, Tricep
    Thusedays: Bicep, Back
    Wednesday: Shoulders, legs

    a.s.o....

Should I change something or just keep rolling?

    Thank's!

    You should be doing fine.

Been doing something similar for quite a time. No problems here.

The key is to listen to your body. If you can feel that you need more off-days, put in another off-day. But you would most likely not need it

    - I'm sure that you'll get way better gains with that, than with a 5-split

I have a feeling you're a noob like me. If you are - don't waste your time on a 5 day split. Focus on Compound exercises and do them heavy.

All research shows that hitting the muscles twice a week is preferable compared to hitting once a week. If you're training 4 days, do 2-split.

When you have got a good amount of training experience and been trained for a few years, you can consider the 5-split. But as a newbie (nothing bad), do fullbody, 2-split or 3-split, hitting every muscle at least twice a week.

    once again. huh?
i never even talked about hitting a muscle once per week.

I dont see why op would workout 6 days a week when 4 days is good. Time is usually important.

Why take a day off because of soreness? Doesn't make sense.

You can still train a sore muscle, so don't take an off-day unless you can feel that you need it
