So, my partner goofed and forgot to put a 5lb plate on one side of the bench, partially my fault since I didnt check, but I rested for a few minutes and bucked up and did the ACTUAL weight I was supposed to do. It felt a little off, but not enough to check in the beginning. Oh well, it didnt kill me and I still got more than I needed to.

Cool Bro Story of the day
Had a new guy recently join the gym I go to and he is a friend of my PL buddy at the gym. Apparently he is a state record holder in the 50-54 age group and he brought his DL bar in today, which was awesome to use. It was good motivation for me today, having two older PL guys that have state records. I only needed 440x1 for my last set, got the second and thought about stopping there but both of them kept shouting at me to get another and I did. Honestly, I think I could have done at least 1 or 2 more. The bar speed was great on all the reps, but it was tiring and I started to lose my hearing in my right ear, which is normal for me when I lift near 90% and then repping it. However, my speed squats werent any faster today, one second slower than last week, but its really hard for me to squat and time myself. Which it could mean my timing sucks and the actual reps are faster. Either way, I am super happy with squats. I also have video of the 440 DL, so hopefully it doesnt take hours to upload.

I have never used a DL bar. How is it different from a regular one?
