    Eating just Ground beef and Rice for Bulking?

    Would this be alright?

    Like I'd probably have lots of Ground beef (Protein) and Rice (Carbs). Along with a protein shake in the morning and after working out. 5g of Creatine a day. Probably will have eggs every now and then (2 Yolk, 3-4 Egg Whites), and some Oats too in the morning.

    However I'm worried about eating too much fat? If I have 1-2lbs of Lean Ground Beef wouldn't I be going over the recommended daily limit? :S

    And for Calorie counting (probably won't do this everyday, just eat a lot) do you guys pour the rice into cups and **** ?

    If its too high percentage of fat get lower fat ground beef. Like the 93% fat free stuff is really low in fat. Even good on a cut.

    but srsly, IIFYM, but i highly advise against that.

    ground beef = tons of bad fats. sparingly its okay, but protein g per protein g per cost.....chicken breast is the best.

    Also I'd get bored with just beef and rice. Grill the ground beef into a burger, or make taco meat. Use wheat buns/tortillas and low fat cheese to fit it in your macros.

    For fat aim for like .4g/lb, I doubt even 2 pounds of ground beef would put you over that. I'd recommend some EFA's though, and fruits/vegetables

    Only bad fat is transfat. The more fat the better hormone production such as test. I love high fat diets. Clear skin, better workouts, more test.

    Ground beef (grass-fed if possible) and white rice is perfectly healthy paleo-food that sounds great. You could add some vegetables and I would leave the oats out cause of the gluten. But other then that, thats what I would eat if I would try to eat as healthy as possible.

    Its just harder to bulk because protein is the macro with the highest satiety... But if you can eat all that its perfect.

    Just checked it and every 125g there is 20g of fat. Is that too much?

    And I'll try getting Chicken breasts, that's more expensive though right ?

    Don't worry about the fat man. Its perfectly fine. You can function perfectly e.g. on a calorie ratio of protein carbs fat 25% 50% 25% or 25% 25% 50% it doesn't matter.

    do you know whats going into the packaged ground beef? probably things that you don't want to be eating...unless you go to a butcher or grind the meat yourself I would have fish/chicken/whole cuts of beef instead of ground beef

    edit - saturated fat isn't good for you under any circumstance, try to get your fats from fish/oils

    Strong deficiencies. The machine will break down if you eat like this long. How long? I can't answer that. I remember an IIFYM thread where people told me as long as you get your required cals, you won't have a micronutrient deficiency. I'm trying to do my best not to post in nutrition threads or post anything that may go against the grain, but I hate to sit here and watch everyone tell you that what you are doing is ok. If anyone disagrees, that is totally fine, but don't start flaming and call me names (getting sick of a-holes that do this). Just advise the OP differently.

    I'd still be eating fruits and veggies through the day, would take a Multi as well. I already have Fish Oil as well, and flax seeds that I put in my shakes
