@homeboy- Do you have no options for female companions or do you just lack the motivation?

@Fullmeasures and Ross- Where are they?

@Corksil- What hurts and what is the feeling?

@Fairplay-Really jacked up if you're disrespecting the srs tag, if your serious yes shave. If you're not serious, I don't see how what you said can be found humorous to anyone.

Apologies about delayed response, internet is acting up

I've been ****ed over by every girl I've been with so far.

But now I'm actually with a decent girl, tons of fun, gorgeous, has a sense of humor, and is straight up honest with me with everything.

But here's my problem. I'm just waiting for something bad to happen now, since I'm used to it. I have absolutely no reason to worry because she's not acting sketchy at all and she actually shows she cares. Ways to get over/past worrys that past relationships have left on me?

I'm going to start my own small business soon, and the logistics/planning that goes into it is pretty overwhelming. Add to this the burden of being a pre-med/science major, and I'm concerned that I'm spreading myself too thin.

you're nuts man, no hate at all.

pre-med majors usually funnel 100% of their energy into their schooling because well...they need it

business owners usually focus on their business because running one takes a lot of management.

you sure you want to do it?

    Thumbs up

I hope Im right about myself for believing that I have what it takes to be a commercial airline pilot

I can't stop till I reach my dream

I can't hear the people who tell me "you can't"

    I can't finish where I start

I CAN do it. I breathe the same air as other pilots, live on the same planet, have the same organs...I will be...

    A commercial airline pilot!

What worries me is paying for college. It feels like yesterday I was in middle school and now I'm a jr in hs and feel like people are depending on me to have my whole life mapped out. I want to gain the most out of my college experience while still getting a degree (planning on joining a frat) that is useful. I've lied to everyone saying I want to do something related to medicine bc that's what people want to hear but I really want to be involved in sports management. I have the grades and mentality and charm for it, but I feel that path won't satisfy others expectations. Im stuck in life right now.

And that is a srs insight to my head right now at 2:30 AM and basically all day everyday.

@ Datsyukdeke - Your problem is one I am very familiar with. You have atleast acknowledged the problem isn't with her, but with yourself. And the issue is comparing one relationship to the other at all. Despite what misc will lead you to believe, every female is completely different. I use to have your issue and it cost me 2 very amazing relationships because I always compared. But I finally realized one day that they were all different, and you have to give her a chance. Going into a relationship comparing your current to a failed relationship, is going in with a plan to fail. Change the mind set and how you view the relationship, your past relationships were learning experiences and nothing more

@ d4mn3d - That is a very real concern. I would plan the business as a hobby, but the cost of starting a business are a great deal more than what most people think. When you start a business you need to be prepared to not have an income for 5 years. Are you prepared to not have an income for 5 years? Chances are no. 9/10 small business' fail within their first year at great financial burden to their owners due to lack of funds/planning. Most people think for whatever reason the second you open your door you're going to be raking in profits. Rarely is that the case. You actually will be losing money your first couple years, and it takes about 5 years before you break even. Just plan it out as a hobby, do the designs, figure out what you're going to do to make yourself stand out from competition, etc etc. Finish your degree, save up minimum 150k liquid cash before you go into a business. Make sure to open an LLC to protect yourself in the long run. You do not want a failed business plagueing the rest of your life.

@ neobjj - I see this all the time. To be blunt, my opinion is no you couldn't have. Everyone has a dream girl, part of that girl being your dream girl is she reciprocates your feelings for her. This individual obviously does not. I was in what I am pretty sure is called "love" once. I ended up breaking up with her because I knew she wasn't truly happy with me. Shortly after we broke up, she turned lesbian, lol yes srs. I met up with her some time after she turned lesbian. She had given everything up in her life, her parents kicked her out, she was in over her head in debt, friends disowned her, all because she wanted to be with her girlfriend. Even though life was chitting on her, I could tell her girlfriend made her happier than I had ever seen her with me. I love this girl, Lindsey, but I happy she is happy. She doesn't need to be with me, I believe I truly love her because I don't care who she is with, as long as that person warms her heart and makes her happy.

@ eurojoe9 - That is going to depend on your faith and what you believe in brother. Honestly I can not answer that question for you, but I have my own beliefs and I am at peace with my understanding of death. You must find your own peace through religion, science, or what ever outlet you use.

@ newkindofarmy421 - Time for you to pick up a new hobby. Do something you have always wanted to do, figure out a goal and work towards it. Everyone needs goals in their life. I view life like I am a ship, and my goals are my destination. I am always sailing towards my goals. If you don't have goals you are like a ship sailing the ocean with no destination, you will never end up where you want to be.

@ arkskie - I replied to him, same response applies to you

@ Trooth - You have the skills and the intellect to be a pilot. The only thing now is your will power. As long as you have that, you will succeed. I expect you to send me a message on BB.com when you achieve your goal and hook me up with free first class with life. Thanks

@ passerbyca - Then study. Study hard. You sacrifice some years now, so that you can enjoy decades and decades of your life later. It's worth it, obsess over that material, know ever inch of those text books. You're not finished studying until you can stand up in front of your class and give the lectures yourself.

@ HiddenStrength - Tell me why you think you have no friends

@ Raxx - It's not their life, its your life. Figure out your own expectations, then exceed those expectations. Don't worry about the money. Contrary to everyone crying about college debt, the job you get with your degree with cover the debt.

I'm right there with you man. My parents and I were never close, never had those heart warming moments or anything. They were like room mates. The most common thing I have heard from all my girl friends was that I was too emotionally detached. If I had a dollar for every time I heard, " You seem like you don't care". I wouldn't work another day in my life. But you will meet a girl that makes it where you WANT to tell her how much you love her, how much you care about her. I didn't realize this until after me and the female broke up, even though I lost her, I know the next time I will get it right. Took me 15-16 girlfriends before I met the one that actually opened my eyes

I'm in a period of worry. I'm with a girl, I want to marry her. (9.5/10, cooks for me, sex on tap). I've been with her 9 months. I will be meeting her mother soon. I don't want her to think I'm a muscle bound douche bag, as I'm starting to get pretty big.

I've got another cycle planned, and am looking to blow out to a lean 230-235. Should I just say f*ck it? The mum should take me as I am, I'll just let my personality shine. Or should I hold off the cycle before meeting her, or look at shredding to a respectable 185?

She has told me how important it is that her mum approve, as they are very close.

okay..although my car runs, its running pretty rough.my car (nissan 300zx) needs a new clutch, timing belt and possibly more stuff to getting it healthy. Which will cost me $1000-2000. I wish to get a more practical car like an accord but i only have about 2Gs saved up. i don't want to spend money on my old car to so i can drive around and sell it for less than what i put in, so im thinking about selling it and saving up for the accord. But i won't have a car if i sell my car, and i still need to get around plus i wish to volunteer and work as CNA (which will force me to drive 20-30miles from where im at.) to get into nursing school. Should i spend about 2gs on my car so i can get around and volunteer and stuff and save up from scratch or sell my car and be closer to getting my new car?

Time to address my stressful academic situation for 3 years now.

Applied to my #1 accounting program choice got early acceptance in high school no problem. Accepted it right away without even considering the other options, summer before my 1st year I go to register for my courses but am unable to, apparently the procedure of acceptance "didn't go through". I was offered business-economics as a secondary option by the office registrar, depressed as chit, but had to take it so I wouldnt disappoint my parents. Going into first year with the wrong mind-set and not taking it serious because it wasn't my program of choice, I ****ed up. Also messed up a final exam date when I was going in with a high 70. Ended up getting kicked out of my business economics program first year and then placed into "general arts" (lol, would you like fries with that?). Pulled my chit together 2nd year transferred into similar accounting route (business admin), needed a 70 average to transfer over to actg... 2nd year almost over, barely about to make a 70 and then it is just announced this spring they are bringing it up from 70 to 75..... my life is fuking over srs.

    Cliffs:
    - got in program
    - acceptance got messed up
    - fuked up first year
    - tried harder second year, was about to make the transfer
    - they up the avg.

    It's all about your priorities.

You will have the argument, blah blah should accept you the way you are and what not. But this is real life, not a fairy tale. Appearance is everything when you're coming into a first impression (That's why you dress nice for interviews). I would cut down to 185, especially since this sounds like it actually might be a make-it-or-break-it situation. Reality is, if you go in hyooge the stereotype meat head will be in her head, its a fallacy from years of watching TV but its the reality of the situation.
