Sad fact:
Park rangers poison the horns of the rhino in order to stop the poachers from using it in soups or whatever they use it for, but when they discover these are poison horned rhino's they just kill them so they don't have to track them again.

the BBC is in on the trading of rhino horns to asian nations who think that they have special healing properties.
there was some academic paper on this that i read regarding teh treament of animals under the white south african government vs the current treatment of them. basically under apartheid they would literally send the army after you if you hurt wild game without sanctions. the
