Goodness, that's a crazy bonk. Were you forced to ride it out once you hit? Or were you able to call and have someone give you a ride? I bonked about 1.5 miles from home when I did, so fortunately it didn't last very long, although there's a crazy steep incline leading up to my house which was brutal.

was in the middle of a century from SW phoenix to lake pleasant to carefree. i was on the way back, passing the 20 mile marker. so ~ 19 miles to go.

bonked hard. it was my fault because im so conscious of my avg sp for the ride, and wasnt watching my HRM or my fluid intake. So i stopped, took a half hr break on the side of the road. drank a whole bottle. and had 2 gus. and made it home.

i think the dehydration got to me more than anything else.

That sounds horrible. Hell, doing anything beyond five miles in that condition would be absolute torture. I mean, riding just under two miles felt awful.

well i can run a mile in about 10 minutes.. 7 if im in really good shape. and some cars wheels are different sizes, so..... i would say they're spinning at about 400 turns per miles.
