Ok so i have been thinking about competing for a while but never really had the guts or desire to.... untill now. I have recently left the fitness industry to take another career path, joined the gym 5 mins from home and received 3 free p.t session. It was on my first session when he asked me have i ever considered it? i said not really, I have thought about it even more so in the last 4 weeks and now have decided that i would love to, only prob is I have no idea where to start with my diet! my training regime is working a gem! how ever not to sure on the amout of calories i should be consuming per day, how much per week to cut down leading closer into the comp time. havent picked a date to compete yet.
I train 4 days a week lifting, not to much cardio atm.
If anyone could help me out, greatly greatly appreciated!!
Cheers

I would definitely look into hiring a coach/nutritionalist for your show, ESPECIALLY if this is your first.
I am five weeks out from my first show date, and I can tell you....this is is NO walk in the park.
