    Karen2k Dymatize DYMA-SHRED 30 Day LOG

    Hey guys,
    Today was my first day of the 30 day challenge. OMG I gotta say I could really see a difference. I pushed it at the gym; I was kinda worried because I could not believe I could lift that much.
    Weight: 146

    Workout Day 1: Legs
    Step ups with Dumbbells: 4 sets of 8 reps, 50 lbs
    Leg Extension: 3 sets of 10 reps. First set 100 lbs, second set 110 lbs, third set 115 lbs. (last week I could only do 85 lbs)
    Dumbbell sumo squats: 3 sets of 10 reps 55 lbs pulse on last set.
    Adductor machine: 3 sets of 10/20/12 reps weight 10/11/12
    Squat on Smith machine: 3 sets of 10 reps 45 lbs
    Leg press for calves: 3 sets of 20 reps 180lbs
    Seated calf raise: 2 sets of 10 reps, last set to failure. 45/70/70 lbs
    Standing calf raise: 3 sets of drop weights started with 200lbs
    Hack squats: 3 sets of 10 reps 180 lbs

    Diet
    Woke up late at 10:30 am so I ate breakfast and skipped meal 2 (snack)
    1 CLA, 1 L carnitine, 1 Dyma Shred
    Meal 1: 1/3 cup oatmeal with dash of cinnamon, 3 egg whites with dash of Mrs. Dash spices
    1 CLA, 1 L carnitine, 1 Dyma Shred
    Meal 2: 1/2 chicken, 1/2 cup sweet potato's, 1/2 green beans
    Meal 3: Elite Gourmet protein 1 1/2 scoop, 1 tbsp flex seed and small apple
    Meal 4: 1/2 cup chicken, 6 asparagus spears, half of an avocado
    Meal 5: 1 1/2 scoop Elite Gourmet protein, 1 tbsp flex seed

    Week 1 Impression of products

    Protein: I ordered the S'Mores favor of Elite Gourmet. I gotta say that French Vanilla is always going to be my favorite. The S'Mores favor is good but not delicious like Vanilla. The only other favor I have ever tried is Cookies n Cream.
    I don't know what is making me act like a beast at the gym(CLA, Dyma-Burn Xtreme, L-Carnitine Xtreme) but something is working!
    I have pushed my limits beyond my imagination. I have not been able to go from 30lbs on a side lateral raise for months. I was able to do 40 lbs of 8 reps for 3 sets yesterday. That was the biggest training accomplishment this week...actually this year. I also, was able to do 115 lbs on a leg extension, last week I could only do 85 lbs.

    Dyma-Burn Xtreme: I am only taking 2 capsules a day, to determine my tolerance this week. I came back from Japan on Sat (today is Thur) and was having sleeping problems from the jet lag. I was able to sleep like a baby last night, so I think I will be able to go to 4 capsules a day by the end of the week.

    Nice initial review.

    I thought about trying the S'Mores, but opted for Chocolate Peanut Butter, and I'm pretty happy with my choice.

    I'm at 2 caps a day right now, and plan on bumping to 3 I think. So the dymaburn will last a little closer to 3 weeks instead of two.

    Weekend wrap up!

    This weekend was a lot better than most weekends, because I tried to stick to my diet and training.

    I'm doing Jamie Eason's phase 3 workouts right now. I haven't been able to finish it. I get to tired and stop, I need to push it harder. I'm thinking of adding a pre work drink. I need to tough it out and push it to win this!!!

    2nd Impression of products

    I am going to school and have had a lot of exams this week. I usually get "butterflies in my stomach" on exam days. I've been feeling this nervousness/jittery feeling this whole week. I don't know if Dyma-Burn Xtreme has anything to do with this feeling or its just the feeling I get during exams.

    Dyma-Burn Xtreme: I was going to increase to taking 4 capsules a day but with these "butterflies" I think I will continue with 2 a day .

    Today's, workout was awesome. I felt like I really pushed it and challenged myself. I didn't take to many rest in between workouts. The diet during the week is always pretty easy for me...it's the weekend that messes me up. I am really doing my best to do 7 days of clean eating.

    I took pictures today and don't really see a difference I am not going to get discouraged because I know that I can give it more than I have been giving my workouts and diet. I will keep pushing it this week. As long as I don't eat like crap during the weekend and push my self, by not taking to many breaks and pushing each rep and weight; I know I will have done my best. I can say that last week I gave myself a 7 out of 10 for pushing it and eating right. This week I hope to be at a 9 or 10.

    So, the jittery feeling I was getting last week was from all the exams I was nervous for. I know this because I didn't have any exams and didn't get the "butterflies". So, Dyma-Burn Xtreme sorry for blaming you...lol.

    Dyma-Burn Xtreme: I increased to 3 capsules a day this week and haven't felt anything bad. I was at the gym for about 2 1/2hours and was able to push it. I think it was also me pushing myself big time though, Dyma-Burn could have helped too...I don't know. I might go to 4 capsules by the start of next week.

    Today, I registered for the Dymatize 12 week challenge!!! I'm so excited because like I said before I love Dymatize. I am going to the for win!!! So, in order to win I have to change 3 things:

    Smile Thursday: 11pm Cardio!

    Today, was my first day ever doing cardio at 11pm. I was reading one of the winners log from one of the challenges and they did cardio 2x a day. Great motivation! I know that I have to work harder and do whatever it takes to get in shape. I love working out and will make sure that my goals are accomplished this year. People have noticed that I am losing weight and I've received many complements.

    Impression of Products

    I was getting worried that I was not making any progress but I took pics earlier this week and I can see a difference. I also, weighed myself today and I'm at 143!!!! I started this challenge at 146. I am going to increase to 4 caps a day, because I feel that my body is handling 3 caps just fine. My bowel movements are great, energy is awesome and strength is increasing.

    I have also been doing HIIT- 30mins cardio on treadmill. I think this has helped too.

    Nice progress. Twice a day cardio is hard, but definitely beneficial to drop the pounds. Keep up the good work!
