    Question Rest and improved gains?

How long should i rest between each set of excercises when I'm trying to bulk.?

And how much weight should I improve in my lifts? For example let's say db press I do 75x8 then next workout I do 80x8 or what?

The trick is just to keep progressing in some way from workout to workout, whether it be decreasing rest times, increasing weight, or more reps.

You could definitely do 80x8 the next workout; if you can do that, then just keep on going. Theoretically, in four weeks, you'd be at 100x8, which'd be fantastic. That kind of progress isn't always sustainable, it'll depend on what level you're at/is your diet and sleep dialed in/etc., but if you can, go for it. You can also go for 75x9 or 75x10 the next workout, then bump it up to 80 lbs. the next week.

A set rest time doesn't matter so much to me, I don't time it out hard. I'd guess 2-3 minutes between hard sets on my big compound exercises, and 1-1:30 for the assistance stuff.
