Lifting gave me some confidence for sure. It's been a hobby for 2a years and I've recently gone on a cut. I was like daaaamn when I didn't lose much muscle, lifts stayed the same, and I look juicy as phuck. Im grateful that video games started to bore me..best time invested. Shrooms too, first time I did them I expanded my mind a little (srs)

I have learned a ton from this site, esp misc.
Used to be 200 pounds skinny fat. Double chin from hell, acne like a pizza and no confidence. I had confidence but it was destroyed once I realized what I was.
Best part is I completely worked from the ground up.
Lost 40 pounds, became somewhat thin but not nearly aesthetic. Started lifting, saw them muscles appearing.
As of now I have aot of confidence back but still working on it. Ive noticed I get looks from girls and even hooked up with one I know (thought I would be foreveralone). My peers respect me more, and I feel great. I feel like I have had decent genetics and they're just now showing. Once Im done with this cut Ima have dat dere jawline. Will post pics upon completion.

Feel way better losing weight, gaining confidence. Holy thing is fuakin injuries. Been working out for 10 weeks, injured legs twice in the time spent 4 weeks not being able to do squats or deads. Last week something happened to my wrist and its useless. Thought it would get better on its own but still hurts and can't rotate my wrist, going to doctor tomorrow
Belief without evidence is a fools game.

I was 220 30+ % bodyfat at 5'8. I was miserable, fat, weak, and generally high 24/7. I started lifting dropped over 50 lbs pretty much quit smoking pot and now even by misc standards I am decently strong. Women actually look at me now and I have dropped all of the social anxiety I at one time had. Bodybuilding is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've posted these pics before but here is a visual representation of what I have accomplished in the past year and a half.
Even in the after pic I was still at 16% bodyfat. I am nearing single digits right now and comparatively I still look like total sh!t in that photo too. Regardless, this site along with /fit/ (where it all started for me) have completely changed my life.

Word.
I'm a completely different person today than I was 2 years ago. It's become an obsession even though because I came from land of the lard, I stil have at least 1 year of lifting heavy to look like I wantFormer 400 lber (ok kind of cheating since I never hit the magical number officially, but close enough).

i've been trying to wrap my head around this....just the way a human evolves/transforms itself. when i first got on here i started studying the science, programs, what worked and what didn't.....almost 1.5 years later i wake up and look in the mirror. how i've changed....and i'm still going "is this real life?" and i'm not even close to where i want to be
