If he wasn't such a little ******* nothing would have happened. If that ******* is acting like that to a cop, I would image he would act the same towards citizens. Hopefully he learned his lesson.

Lmao was in that crowed somewhere. Kid was talking for 5 straight mins to the cop, both should have just walked away. I blame the cop because he was older, sober, and is supposed to be a responsible citizen.

The kid clearly stomped on the cops foot. That is assault which is a crime. He also was drunk and creating a disturbance in public which could be considered drunk and disorderly conduct, a swell as underage drinking and public intoxication. Also the cop didn't use excessive force.

the cop was was absorbing the kids life force, that's why he was too weak to even stand up cause his energy was drained.

He stepped on the cops shoe on purpose that is a assaulting a police officer the cop could have shot and killed him on the spot, he was very nice just choking him out.

If he did step on the cop's shoe, then some force would have been appropriate. Why not just handcuff the kid like normal procedure? Why choke a kid a quarter the cop's size?

We pay cops to protect us... but we also pay them to protect us from little punks like that kid in the video. Believe it or not its actually a cops DUTY to put little punks in their place who won't behave themselves out in public, so before you scream "OMG POLICE BRUTALITY", think again.

You get up in a cops face and being aggressive, expect to be dealt with rightly so.

Did that kid pose any threat of violence to anyone? If so, I agree, he should be apprehended. but yelling drunk slurs is not a threat in my opinion.

this is the exact problem with many American's mind set IMO. The cop, as the paid public servant, should have been the mature one and walked away. I am not saying that the kid's behavior was "good;" no human should act like that in my opinion; but its not illegal (or shouldnt be) to talk to a cop, the kid never raised a fist or anything violent, just talked. If someone wants to yell in a cop's face, so long as no violene or anything, they should be able to. A COP IS A PUBLIC SERVANT

i dont change my opinion based on the majority's view. I responded to the good points posters have made, like if the kid did stomp on the cop's foot or if he did indeed pose a threat to anyone. You can try to persuade me, but absent an actual threat to the cop or to another person, there is no need or justification to choke the kid!
